Albion will play French top-flight side AS Nancy in their final warm-up fixture ahead of the new season.

The Baggies will face the club who loaned them Marc-Antoine Fortune last season at the Hawthorns on August 1 at 3pm.

It will be the only home fixture of their pre-season programme.

Nancy played in last season’s UEFA Cup and just missed out by one point on reaching the last 32, beating Feyenoord 3-0, losing 4-3 to CSKA Moscow and 1-0 to Deportivo and drawing 2-2 with Lech Poznan in the group stage.

The club, whose former players include current UEFA President Michel Platini and ex-Republic of Ireland striker Tony Cascarino, finished 15th in the French league.
