VILLA

Spurs midfielder David Bentley is set to end his disappointing spell at White Hart Lane by signing for Villa on 1 July.

West Ham defender Matthew Upson is wanted by Villa manager Martin O’Neill.

BLUES

Blues are ready to make a £1.5m bid for Espanyol midfielder Jordi Gomez following his impressive loan spell at Swansea last season.

Birmingham City are set to swoop for Villa midfielder Craig Gardner.

Blues aim to continue their signing spree with swoops for two central defenders – Standard Liege’s Oguchi Onyewu and Ecuadorian international Giovanny Espinoza.

ALBION

Celtic managerial target Tony Mowbray is already planning a transfer raid at The Hawthorns, with £3m-rated Spanish midfielder Borja Valero top of his list.

Paul Robinson also says he would be interested in a move to the Scottish Premier League runners-up.

Aidy Boothroyd and Alan Irvine are front-runners to take over from Celtic-bound Tony Mowbray.

Albion, Celtic and Rangers look set to lose out on goal-machine Leigh Griffiths after the Livingston striker admitted he would love to sign for Italian club Parma.
