VILLA

Tottenham have offered David Bentley plus £8m for Villa winger Ashley Young.

Villa are interested in Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas and are ready to gazump rivals Wolves for Serbian midfielder Nenad Milijas.

Villa could be interested in bringing Olof Mellberg back to the West Midlands.

Tony Mowbray is expected to be confirmed as the new manager of Celtic today, according to reports from Scotland.
