Home is where heart is for Himley

Thursday 4th June 2009, 6:55AM BST.

cricket-ball.jpgHimley skipper Greg Wright is looking for home comforts when they host Kidderminster.

Wright’s men claimed an impressive 11-run victory over top of the table Knowle and Dorridge at the weekend.

Now Wright is focused on making home advantage count.

He said: “We’ve played four of six away from home and had one rained off, so that has set us back in the first month.

“But we’ve got things together, will hopefully have everyone fit and have a few home games coming up.

“We lost our first game at home to Wolves, but only lost one last season. We know we are strong and teams don’t like coming to Himley.”
