wd3286945wolves-fans-25Wolves believe their fans can make the difference between survival and relegation in the Premier League next season.

The Championship winners have added the accolade of the most watched away team of all the 72 Football League clubs.

Mick McCarthy’s side were watched by an average of 2,808 on their travels last season – bettering by more than 500 their nearest Championship rivals, Sheffield United  with 2,316.

But it’s at Molineux where Wolves believe their support will make the biggest difference.

Chief executive Jez Moxey said: “One of the things we have to get our fans to understand is we’re going to be an underdog.

“From day one they need to act like they did in the second half of the season when we were in Premier League last time, where they give us every possible advantage at Molineux that they could.

“We know they can do it.”
