tonymowbray.jpgAlbion have attempted to dampen speculation linking manager Tony Mowbray with a move to Celtic.

The club have issued a statement insisting they expect Mowbray to be in charge in the Championship next season.

The statement read: “Tony Mowbray us under contract for the next two years and we fully expect him to be our manager next season.

“Further than that, the club feels there is no need to comment on speculation.”

Rumours are rife in Scotland that Mowbray is at the top of the Hoops’ wanted-list to replace Gordon Strachan, who has resigned.

Mowbray spent four years as a player at Parkhead.
