Pothole finally filled in
Saturday 23rd May 2009, 11:30AM BST.
Workers have filled in a pothole outside shops that was left half finished by Walsall Council because it only owned part of the land.
Shoppers and traders were outraged when the council repaired its part of the site outside shops in Sneyd Hall Road, Dudley Fields, in Bloxwich.
Now Walsall Housing Group which owns the other bit completed the work yesterday.
Resident Mrs Anne Kenn, aged 75, from Heath Road said: “The council is a disgrace. That pothole has been like that for years.”

At last common sense prevailes but why oh why do Councils need to bring ridicule upon themselves.
Well done Connor, nice to see you listened. PC.

if the pot hole had been like that for years why did the council fill it in

Because they have finally seen sense, before another resident falls over and hurts themselves therefore saving them a small fortune in the long run, instead of getting sued!
