Hundreds of cannabis plants have been recovered during a drugs raid in Walsall.
Officers from the Alumwell and Birchills Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at Forrester Street, next Walsall Manor Hospital.
Inside the mid-terraced property officers found a large cannabis factory setup and officers seized more than 320 cannabis plants.
Officers are continuing their inquiries and no arrests have been made at this time.
The warrant was executed at 8am yesterday after information received from the local community and intelligence gathering by local Police Community Support Officers.
Anyone with information about suspicious activity or possible criminal behaviour is urged to contact their local neighbourhood police team on 0845 113 5000.
