Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Midfielder Dorrans given all clear
Thursday 30th April 2009, 1:57PM BST.
Albion have received a vital fitness boost after in-form midfielder Graham Dorrans received the all-clear after X-rays on his right foot.
The young Scot’s test results confirmed no serious damage and is targeting a return to training before the weekend.
Dorrans, 21, who limped out of the 3-0 weekend win over Sunderland after clinching the man-of-the-match award, hopes to be fit to face Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
He left the Hawthorns in an orthopaedic boot, but the Baggies’ medical staff were confident he had not broken any bones.
Dorrans said: “The X-ray’s come back clear and I’ve been having some treatment. I’ll hopefully be given the go-ahead to return to training today and we’ll see how it is then.”
The midfielder has been a hit with fans since being handed a full Premier League debut in the draw at West Ham and the £150,000 summer signing from Livingston was at the heart of Saturday’s success over the Black Cats.
Manager Tony Mowbray is looking forward to Dorrans continuing his development in a new central midfield role.
He said: “I’m delighted with his performance level, because I know he’s got all that ability.
“The first day I saw him training he looked comfortable on the ball and didn’t look out of depth last season training with our players – players who were at the top end of the Championship.
“He’s continued growing into the team and at this moment he is utilising his talents in a different position from where he recognised himself as a footballer.”

I did laugh at that tezza! Hey you been polishing that chmapionship trophy for us to lift on sunday? Lets hope young Dorrans is not tempted by a move to a big premier league club, I think Wolves should put in a 200k bid, we may even loan him back to you!
