Wolves start the clearout
Wednesday 29th April 2009, 11:30AM BST.
Mick McCarthy today announced the start of a Wolves clearout to make way for Premier League signings – with Jason Shackell an early casualty.
Boss McCarthy is allowing Shackell, who cost nearly £1m in August, to leave Molineux. The 25-year-old, who signed a three-year deal, is currently on loan at relegation-threatened Norwich, where he was signed from eight months ago.
Also surplus to requirements are transfer-listed duo Darren Potter and Darren Ward, who have a year left on their contracts.
Potter is in talks with Sheffield Wednesday where he’s been since January, while Ward is on loan at Charlton.
“Darren Ward is on the list, Darren Potter’s on the list and Jason Shackell is out at Norwich – people like that will be gone,” said McCarthy.
“There will be some others but they’re not for public consumption at the moment.
“Sheffield Wednesday wo-uld like Potter and I guess Norwich’s situation with Shackell will be determined by whether they stay up after the weekend.
“As regards Charlton and Darren, it might depend on what they can afford to offer him in League One.
“But he’ll enjoy it there because it’s not far from where he lives, and he’s done well for them.”
It’s thought Wolves would want fees for all three players. Potter cost £250-,000 and Ward £500,000.
Shackell has made just three Championship starts for Wolves and was behind Richard Stearman, Neill Collins, Jody Craddock and Christophe Berra when he rejoined the Canaries.
McCarthy is looking to add quality and quantity to his squad, and won’t be selling any of the main bulk of players.
“There’ll be additions to the squad, but a lot of the ones that have had loads of games this season will still be here. None of them will be going,” he said.
McCarthy will tell his three loan players – Villa’s Marlon Harewood, and West Ham pair Kyel Reid and Nigel Quashie – whether he intends to extend their stays next week.

Premiership players we currently have -
Hennessey (just about)
Foley
Berra (if he has Mancienne next to him)
Elokobi (due to the size n his pace)
Kightly
Jarvis (when fit)
Ebanks-Blake
So that’s a squad of….. 7 top class players.
Mick has a hell of a job to do for next season i’m afraid.
Yeah mick does have a hell of a job to do when looking at our current crop of players ready for the premiership, but don’t forget, he had a much tougher job on his hands when he took over after Hoddle destroyed our team and left him with nobody, we were one of the favourites to be relegated, not look at us!
Good one Wolvesmod, nice to see we are staying positive!
I would only keep Kyle Reid out of the 3 loan signings. Harwood needs confidence and Quashie…………well its Nigel Quashie, no explanation needed.
Centre of the midfield has to be first priority for me. Maybe someone like Alan Smith or Nicky Butt if Newcastle get relagated
Report abuse
1) I totally agree with your choices. There are however others that could perform/surprise in the Premiership ie Ikeme, Murray, Jones, Edwards. We have the likes of Vokes, Friend,Little, Kyle Bennett are prospects for the future.
Experienced players like Hyypia are ideal. We need cover at full back, two centre halves, two central midfielders and a centre forward.
Give the players a chance in the premier league Don,t write them off just yet.You never know they might shine playing in that league.
Well are you saying I’m wrong?
Wise Wolves fans know deep down we need 6 or 7 new players.
I mean we’ve lost 10 games this season and the Prem isn’t the Championship
Report abuse
This squad and the players within were good enough to win a very competitive league so who is to say individuals can’t cut it in the premiership. Are our players worse than Stokes?
They deserve a chance. The premiership is a different style of play – less rush, more thought and it could be our players will take to that situation very well indeed.
I am sorry about Shackell because he did not get much of a chance but clearly he’s not in Mick’s mind and so be it. he did great for Norwich so I’m sure he’ll get a good club.
I will be intrigued by how Keogh plays in the ‘big league’. I suspect that he could do well and before you mock that – remember what people were saying about Butler when we went to the premiership last time. Butler was one of our most successful players. Give um a chance.
Neil Collins should be on that release list, yes he gives 100% and i respect him for that but he is no where near a premiership player, there is no shame in not being good enough, but surely magic mick should realise that!
I’m not saying i’m right either..
But why fans keep knocking Sami Hyypia as a potential signing is beyond me. He is class.
Re: 6 – Izzy
that’s a very good point. Different game in the prem. There could well be a few surprise stars.
Surely we must include Stearman in our thoughts. That lad will be a top player, no mistake. He has the pace we need at that level. I really hope he comes again and MM does not discard him. Another I would like to stay would be Mark Little – another one with pace and would be great cover for Foley. We need a couple of old heads recruited, but the Premiership is all about pace and the ability to move the ball quickly. (Berra worries me in this regard). Come on me babbies !!
8 – we cant afford to allow to many maybe players time to find their feet in the premier or to see if their good enough. by the time we worked that out it will be Past August with the Window Shut
now lets use the players from Poster 1, as a basis and put some solid established premier players around them i.e hyypia alongside berra, butt in the middle etc…
Report abuse
I feel abit sorry for shackell, never really got a chance to show what he can do for us… Theres nochance were going to get back the million pound we spent on him.
i think we need a quality center back to play with berra, id be happy with hyypia.. i also think we need a good left back, maybe bale from spurs.. then we need someone solid in the middle of the park. i think henry and jones will be to lightweight for the prem.. imagine the likes of scholes, gerrard, lampard playing againt them? they’ll have a field day, i like gary o’neil at boro. also we need cover for kights and jarvis, chris eagles from burnley would do the job.. ive heard damien duff on some wolves forums tho..
i love this time of year with all the romours and speculation…
Report abuse
Some players will improve in the Prem.MM should know by now and sought it out. That’s his job.
It’s ours to support Wolves.Let’s just stay in the Prem this time and go from there.
“player like that” – like what? xxxp? lmao.
Anyway – lets not start slagging the players – the vast majority deserve a place in our hearts and a chance at the Prem.
Well Done Wolves.
And thank you Mick!
we have the nucleus of a good side already at the club, as pointed out by wolvesmod, these boys have earned the right to play in the prem and should be given the chance. however at least 5 experience prem players needed especially in midfield, how about a bid for zokora as he has stated his unhappiness at being left out at spurs, imo he would be a great signing along with hyypia.
Clear out the dead wood. Get rid of Potter, Darren Ward, Shackell, Reid, Harewood, Quashie, Collins and replace them with a bit of class at least.
Im so looking forward to next year but believe a minimum of £25 million will have to be spent to keep us up. I hope we will go for it.
Id go for Ledley at Cardif for a start. Scotland at Swansea is worth a punt. Delroy Facey anyone :)
sorry second post – the next person to suggest Nicky Butt deserves a slap.
I read an interview with him this year where he said he had lost his appetite for the game – it seems apparent to me every time i watch him.
I dont want Nicky Butt. Anyone Butt infact.

Call me Mr POSITIVE if you like but..
i look at all the good things going for us
. Our side have shown they can play great football just check out the start of the season also we can grind results out when we the pressures on.
. We have a young squad that want to get better, will get better with age and experiance.
. We also have NO big pay, loong contract has beens. We will buy good experiance the ones mick thinks will fit in the team.
. Also we have a tightly run club, no debht no huge loans or gambles (HAT OFF TO MOXEY & SIR JACK for that)
. Add to that the fact We have a GREAT new Chairman in STEVE MORGAN, giving us some say in the premier league to attract a few class players that will only help our current crop.
. A stubborn but equally brilliant manager MERLIN MICK, who’s THE BEST for gettin you there, deserves a chance to be a premier manager and if we go back down, no need to get rid as he can get us up again !!
. To top that all off we have the like of ZELI ISMAIL/kyle bennett coming through our youth system, A FORTRESS WHEN FULL GROUND the MOLENUEX and THE BEST FANS IN THE LAND !
We got alot of work ahead, but based on all that, we got our best chance since in can remember to go back to the glory days !
UP UP UP THE WOLVES !!

I think this talk of needing “11 premiership quality” players is not quite right.
So you are telling me Bolton, Newcastle, Middlesborough, Sunderland and even Fulham have 11 premiership quality players starting each game???
You need a core team of top players, good quality who can change a game. Top that up with players who will battle and have a bit of quality and you will survive. Just take a look at Stoke!!!
We have a goalscorer, we have 2 quality wingers, we have 2/3 defenders and good choice of keepers.
Top that up with 4/5 good Prem signings and we will do ok.
If you look at the likes of Fulham, Villa etc, they don’t have 1 main goalscorer (think there top scorers are only on 9/10)
In Blake we have someone who I believe will hit 10/15 a season. Kightly will be given more space in the Prem and will chip in with his usual 5-8.
So in certain key area’s we have the players already to hand.
Let’s hope Mick makes better use of whatever cash he’s given than he did spending a million quid on someone who he never really played, and is being farmed out to his previous club for a knock-down price.
We can’t afford to waste a million quid. Albion wasted their cash, and look where it got them.
I think those 7 are about right, but I’d swap Berra for Stearman. Berra has looked poor at Championship level. So that’s 3 and a half million on two suspect buys alone. Oh dear.
Let’s all enjoy our time in the sun as champs, but never forget we face a harsh reality check come August…
Report abuse
I reckon the only players we have that can make the step up with ease will be Foley, SEB and possibly Kightly and Foley (if he can stay fit).
I don’t think Hennessey, Berra, Elokobi and Vokes are quite there yet – hopefully they will flourish, but it could go either way.
The rest of the current squad is not at the required standard and we need to spend big money.
On a positive note, it’s good to see the clearout starting so soon and if the runour mill is to be believed, we’ve already got some irons in the fire.
Don’t expect any unveilings until June though.
people have to remember not everyone who worked in the championship will cut it in the prem, and visa versa, their game might be more suited to the prem and they struggle in the championship. we could get realy suprised by a few lads and dissapointed by others. lets wait and see eh?
Of the players we have on loan – Kyel Reid is the only one I would consider offering a contract. Quasie – forget it – very average championship player. Harewood, possibly a confidence thing but the guy looks clumsy at best. Ok set up 2 goals at Derby but apart from that, hopeless. I feel that some of our young stars not mentioned such as Dave Edwards, Dave Jones and George Friend are capable of making the step up to Premiership level.
A player to ditch, despite being given a new 4 year contract this season is Collins. A goal threat at set pieces yes but, too slow and makes too many catastrophic mistakes that were punished at Championship level so God knows what would happen in the Premier!
I have a good feeling at the moment on our chances next year. Follow Stoke’s example – keep the nucleus of the team and draft in a few experienced campaigners.
Roll on Sunday
Report abuse
I think MM might go for Mattock from Leicester again, that lad is a great prospect at left back. Hyypia is exactly what we need, leadership and experience at the back. Definitely need a “Incey” type in the middle, rumours are that MM will try for Elliott from Bristol City again, even if they’re a bigger team eh McIndoe lol!!
Wolvesmod – so whats your point with losing 10 games in the championship???
Last years winners West Brom lost 11, Stoke lost 9 and Hull lost 13.
The previous year when Sunderland went up with Roy Keane they lost 12.
Just don’t get your point on the games lost??
Think we all agree we need new blood, but its not as critical as it would be for someone like Birmingham and there ageing team, we atleast have young blood ready to go.
And as Izzy said, you never know. Who would of though Fuller would be good in the prem?? who would of thought Kenwyne Jones would be so good when Sunderland brought him from Stoke?
The list goes on:
Keith Andrews – Blackburn
Ian Ashbee – Hull
David Wheater – Middlesborough (who couldn’t even get in the Wolves team 2 years ago)
Ben Watson – Wigan
to name but a few who have done well from lower leagues.
Firstly what we need is a Premiership quality Coach to help assess the squad we have it maybe worth bringing someone EXTRA on that side.
This has been an excellent season, but we all know this side has flaws wether it be giving the ball away too cheaply or naive defending.
I do believe we have some diamonds in the rough who could polish up and become top players with the right coaching skills.
Obviously we need to bring in some big names, but the nucleus is there and just needs bringing out in 1 or 2 players.
Don’t know what everyone is worried about. I think the team we have is fine and I for one will be putting 2 quid on that we do the treble next year!!!!!!Enjoy the moment
Report abuse
You have to admit that Shackell has been a shocking waste of money
Report abuse
There’s no point knocking people making valid points with regard to the enormity of the task that lies ahead. We should stop looking through rose coloured spectacles and be honest who really is good enough from what we’ve seen.
Hennessey (Murray if fit)
SEB
Kites
Jarvis
Foley
Elokobi (assuming same before Injury)
These are the only players good enough to start regularly. Squad players I’d keep:
Henry
Vokes
Edwards
Berra
Jones
Ikeme
I’m sorry it might seem harsh but that’s what MM is paid for, Keogh, Iwelumo, Ward, Craddock, Collins, any fringe players and the 3 loanees are not good enough.
I think it has to be said now before we end up playing catch up again in the Prem. I believe it will and MM will create a squad worthy of Premier League football and carrying the glorious name of Wolverhampton Wanderers forward.
Why do all these numpties keep banging on about Scotland? He’s over 30 years old, unproven, and couldn’y lace SEB’s boots!
Keogh will be the surprise package next year, his play will suit the extra bit of space in the PL

Jiwal,
£1m to me and you (and virtually everyone else) is an awful lot of money. It’s not a great deal to speand on an average Championship player though.
We need to remember though that at the time Shackell was signed it was virtually the end of the transfer window and Craddock was crocked. Mick HAD to do something. He took a gamble on Shackell and lost.
We’ll recoup some/most of the fee and move on. The Sky dividend will make the loss on the deal pale into insignificance and no-one will even remember who Shackell is in a couple of years.

im not going to speculate on players coming or going but what we definately need is a qaulity goalkeeping coach or 2 main keepers this season hennesy and ikeme have gone backwards under the coaching of pat mountain (who)

MM – none of the loan players are good enough for the current Wolves 1st XI. So with an improved team, 2 central defenders, 2 central midfield, a winger and 1 or 2 forwards, i cant see them adding value. We need better players than we already have, and complimented with the likes of Murray, Hennessey, Foley,Elokobi, SEB, Kites,
Report abuse
I know you’re all going to slaughter me but why is everyone so sure that Elokobi will be good enough for the Prem? He’s got potential, agreed. But he is very very raw.
Perhaps this team could ‘cut it’ in the Prem:-
Hennessey/Murray
Foley
Stearman
Hyypia
Elokobi
Kites
New Signimg 1
Jones
Jarvis
SEB
New Signing 2
Who should be the New Signings? I’d go for Joe Ledley and Aliadiere (if ‘Boro go down).

Looks like Murray has a chance of being fit which is a god-send. I am glad Mick is having no sentiment and getting rid of the players that wont make it. Matt Murray coming and collecting crosses with Foley, Hypia, Berra and Elokobi sounds good to me. Get Mancienne and Turner from Hull for competition.
We have some fine players who will make the transition to the greed league with little trouble.
My main concern is that the average size of the players in the prem. is about 6ft2, We are going to need players who are big enough to compete.
My boxing coach always said that a good big ‘en would always beat a good little en’.
Up The Wolves
Report abuse
Whoever lines up for the glorious Wolves come August 15th needs 100% backing from the fans (which I have no doubt they will get) through thick and thin. No moaning, no groaning. I am hoping for a minimum average return of of about 1 point per game during the Prem programme. This would leave us on 37 points form 37 matches and a chance of 40 points come the last game. That’s the minimum requirement. Anything more and it’s party time, anything less and I’m afraid we could quite possibly be doomed! But bring it on and trust in MM/JM/SM to come up with the goodS in the summer. OUT OF DARKNESS COMETH LIGHT!
39. Elokobi’s pace and power will make up any shortfall he may have in being raw. With the right coaching he could be a very good prem player, I cant see anyone out pacing or out strengthening him next season.
Pye green has it spot on since we lost Bobby mimms neither ikeme prior to injury or hennesy look the same players they were.
For me you can’t knock Mick in signing players and some not working out, I personally don’t think 1 million is alot of money to gamble with! Mick will have to gamble alot higher than that this season, so it’s to be expected some signings wont work!
For me 1 centre back, a fullback for cover, 1 creative midfielder, 1 holding midfield, 1 cover the wing and a centre forward. Thats 6 players QUALITY please no cheaper foreign imports who don’t know the prem!

Offload – Collins, Dan Jones, Lewis Gobern, Jason Shackell, Darren Ward, Matty Hill, Darren Potter.
Season long loans for – George Friend, Stephen Ward, Andy Keogh, Sam Vokes, Mark Little, Stephen Gleeson.
And send all the loanee’s back, maybe keep Reid for sentimental value, lol, use him as the mascot for the season.

I dont understand why some people want to sign Scotland, Doyle, Ledley etc. I wouldnt take the risk of signing any championship players at all. We have a team full of them, albeit very young and with huge potentional. Dont misunderstand me I think Wolves have excellent foundations for next season, but alot of championship players in the Prem take to long to adjust if they ever do at all, so why sign more?
Unless exceptional, nor would I sign any foriegn players that have never played Prem football either, to risky, just ask WBA.
Experianced Premiership players is the key, yes expensive, but definately the solution for survival in my opinion, so we need to bite the bullet and spend the cash.
Hyypia is a perfect choice and I also think Scholes would be great, very ambitious I know but not impossible, money talks.
I also have a feeling Keogh is going to be the suprise player at Wolves next season, his pace and nimbleness will suit the Premiership and the referees will blow everytime he’s touched.
Yow watch!!
Alot to look forward to!
Oh, has Happy Baggie been on here yet to congratulate us on winning the league yet??

There’s a lot of player’s at Stoke in fact almost all the team that has come out of the championship and twelve months ago were to considered on a par with the one’s who have taken us up! im not saying all our players are good enough but until they play there none us know which one’s are and which one’s are not.
So claer the decks of the dead wood and stock up because a big squad is needed.
And as for Sami Hyypia would be a great signing!!!

Out should go Collins, Shackell, Potter, both Wards, Hill and the 3 loan players.
Players coming in should be Mancienne, Distin, Ledley, Reo-coker, C Edwards, Tuncay or McCarthy

A good player we could get on the cheap is Michael Tonge from Stoke, only made 3 apps since signing from Sheff Utd last season and he did well for the Blades in there prem season.
Reckon we could get him on the cheap as Stoke don’t rate him.
No great surprise that certain players are to be shipped out, it happens to every team, every close season and Shackell, Potter & Ward going were obvious candidates as they played very few games and when they did, they hardly impressed, did they?
There will be others too, some will surprise us and others will be of no surprise at all, only we will all be wondering why they were not released some time ago, need I name names?
As for players coming in, yes we need experience and not the type we brought in the last time we made the Prem. That was different though, for by the time we had gained promotion through the play-offs, any players we were interested in had already signed for other clubs.
McCarthy no doubt will keep to his past policy of bringing in young British players who will blend with the squad he has already put together with perhaps 3-4 experienced players who can still cut it in the Prem to give the younger ones a chance to find their feet.
By the time the end of September arrives, we should all know if we have the quality and the strength to keep our Prem place and hopefully we will!

I talked to someone connected at Liverpool and Hyppia will leave if he is guaranteed a starting place. Thats what he is not getting at Anfield.

I believe we have the foundations for a squad in the Premier League already but, as has been said, we need to invest heavily in the first team. Of our current squad, I’d suggest the following should remain, if only to form part of a larger squad.
Hennessey
Ikeme
Murray
Foley
Craddock
Berra
Elokobi
Little
Stears
Kightly
Henry
Jones
Jarvis
Edwards
SEB
Iwelumo
Vokes
Keogh
What we need to remember is that a Premier League squad needs to be much larger than that of a Championship club, so investment in defence with 2 or 3 new players, midfield, with a couple of quality wingers and central midfield player, and a couple of centre forwards is all that is needed.
We do need to spend ,both in signing fee’s and wages, Micks already stated that himself, but buying a load of older so called experienced players surely wont keep us up ,was this not the case in our last Premiership campaign, the odd old head to steady the boat maybe, but some younger premier blood ,such as mancienne must be a main priority if we are survive.
We have to go up and compete. I don’t care who you are, you’ve got to spend money to compete in that league and hopefully we will bring in some top players to help us.The words of C.Berra,MM has already stated that he will need a greater investment than the one given to him when Sunderland went up.Yesterday i was slated for my comments(doubts)about Hyypia mainly due to his age and the fact that he has only played 15 times for liverpool this season, however i will bow to popular demand.Still though i really do believe that this club is big enough to attract the quality signings needed to ensure we are able to compete in the prem. And also not to make the mistakes of last time around and go for established premiership players.
I beleive MM has done a fantastic job and assembled a team capable of getting promotion, but my concern all along has been a lack of quality in the squad. i’m sure one or two of our players will step up and doing a good job in the prem, but we only have a few who i expect to do well like
Murray if fully fit will do well in the prem
Henessey – may struggle particularly with crosses and corners.
Foley
Berra
Kightly-
SEB – I think he can get goals but his touch and hold up play need to improve.
Players with potential for me are edwards, jones, elokobi and keogh.
Teams get relegated because they dont score enough goals and let in too many, however
I think our midfield is the weakest link and will need real strenghening to cope in the prem.
We also need an experienced central defender as i dont think Craddock can really defend well at this level.

To stay in the Premiership we have to target 6-8 teams and regard ourselves in a league of our own with them. The 6-8 teams next season will (hopefully) be: Hull, Stoke, Fulham, Portsmouth, Blackburn, any 1 of Birmingham/Reading/Sheff Utd, and any 1 of Birmingham/Reading/Sheff Utd/Burnley/ Cardiff and any other Premiership side that has run out of money.
We need Newcastle and Middlesboro/Sunderland to go down because regardless of how rubbish they are this season they still have the ability to spend money during the summer to push them back into being mid-table rubbish. If either/both of them go down then that means there are more teams that will be struggling to survive next season along with us then we would normally expect. In this mini-league of teams, if we win all our home games that’s 21 points. If we get a draw away then that another 7 points and we’re almost surviving. A home win against United and we’re over 30 points and well on the way. There are always lucky draws and we’re laughing all the way to being an established Premiership side mocking the newly promoted teams.
So… pray for Newcastle to go down, pray for another big spender to go down and then pray for Mick to have enough money to buy players good enough to beat Hull, Stoke, Blackburn, Porstmouth, Bolton, Wigan and the crap teams that are being promoted with us to the Premiership next season.
We are mighty and we will be established.

The Warnock article is not accepting comments so I thought I would drop it here. Has the chunky fella not accepted his Northern romance is dead and buried. Why the hell is he still blathering on about Sheffield. He has found his rightful place, at a nothing club hovering above the relegation zone with little or no aspiration or future. How anyone would could sit at a desk with this despicable character and give him a job- the mind boggles. I wouldn’t let him run my pub team. With no wig or make up, I also think he would make a tremendous female battle axe character on Coronation Street.

69 – Stephen – tch tch – Warnock is a well known “Gob on a Stick” and personally not worthy of anyone’s breath let alone comments!
He’s probably getting ready for a Palace home defeat on the last day of the season infront of his new teams home fans – the usual sort of thing you get from managers who are getting ready for a loss
Wolves have won the league and the result speaks for itself Nuff said! Nothing Warnock can say or do will make any difference whatsoever! PS Dont be surprised if Sheff Utd win the last game againts Palace – so Blouse had better watch out!

I can’t believe there are so many who think Elokobi will cut it in the prem. For me he looked a bit rash in the championship before his injury. Time will tell.
I think Hyppia would be a good signing to provide a bit of rock solid experience. If Murray can get back to fitness and keep his fitness we have a keeper with the ability to be England’s No 1.
We do need at least 6 decent players brought into the squad.

69 and 70. Unbelievable that Warnock should be saying such things before playing his old team in such an important match that afects two other teams.
He seems to be hinting that Palace could just roll over for Blades. Reading will be going ape when they hear this.

72 Exactly Spot on! Afterall Warnock is a Blades fan – Be good to know how Palace feel about his comments??? Especially Palace Chairmans views?

Players we should keep:
Please add Stephen Ward to the list. Might not be in our starting 11 next year, but has shown loads of versatility by slotting in at left back when we were desperate. Didn’t always look a natural, but I think a lot of people refuse to admit that he looked better and better as the season went on.

I agree with 66 we do have to view this “mini league” as our best chance of survival and take the good results against the top teams as a bonus.
Regarding the squad strengthening, we certainly do need to get some experience in but as others have said, a lot of our current squad are only going to get better and if you look at Reading from a few seasons ago, they went up from The CCC and didn’t buy loads of players and they did ok in their first season, who’d heard of the likes of Sidwell, Doyle, Shorey etc before they got into The Prem?

I think we should try and sign Dos Santos, at the mo he’s on loan at Ipswich from spurs, quality central midfielder and can play striker.. and maybe someone like hypiafor the back, we suit us if we could borrow mancienne again for the season though this time

Great shout 76. Harry obviously doesnt fancy him either
We need players with flair and a chance of getting a goal by themselves. If wolves try and defend their way to survival we will go down – fact!!

77,
Really???
So, why is it that your ‘fans’ have been posting messages for your rabble to sack Mowbray for half a season & it hasn’t been a trickle either there have been loads of them.
I can understand why you’re bitter though, as your joke of a club haven’t even tried to stay up, even Stoke had a go at staying & got their just rewards.
I’ve heard they only make yoyo’s in blue & white strips now, poor kids!!!!
boing boing

Boing Boing #77
Could of sworn all we had heard since christmas was booing at every home game!
oh and if you actually took a little trip to your own message boards you would see all the discontent among your own fans.
Anyway, good luck in the fizzy pop league next year, have fun!
