LG recently launched the W53 series eyestrain-reducing monitor, their first product featuring automatic brightness control.
Picture settings and screen brightness are automatically optimised based on the light in the room, lowering the intensity of the backlight to avoid eyestrain.
It even has a timer that reminds users to take a break from their work at predetermined intervals, as well as a ‘Cinema Mode’ which eliminates distractions like pop-up adverts when watching videos online.
The W53 series will be available in the UK from the end of May. Go to www.lge.co.uk for more info.
