Bolton 1 Villa 1

Saturday 25th April 2009, 3:00PM BST.

villacrest1.jpgLive updates from the Reebok Stadium as Villa bid to end their poor run of form at battling Bolton in the Premier League.

16.40: Villa pressing forward looking for a winner but it’s former Villa player JLloyd Samuel who is doing his best to deny them. Delfouneso is on in place of Heskey.

16.:30: Game very even. 1-1 is just about the right score at the moment. Difficult to see who will get the better of this one.

16.18: Bolton equalise through Tamir Cohen making his debut for the Trotters. He lashed the ball into the net.

16.14: More good news from Goodison as Man City go 2-0 up against Everton thanks to Stephen Ireland.

16.05: Bolton start the second half a bit more brightly with a half chance for Kevin Davies.

15.44: Villa take the lead thanks to a ‘cross’ from Ashley Young that really made Jaaskelainen look foolish.

15.37: Good news for Villa – Everton go 1-0 down against Man City courtesy of Robinho.

15.32: First real chance of the game but Muamba makes a right hash of it and Friedel is able to make the save. In truth it should have been 1-1.

15.28: Barry and Petrov have shots blocked and Shorey blasted over the bar from a Young free-kick. That’s the closest we’ve come to a goal chance so far. Not a great game.

15.27: Villa certainly on top in terms of possession but can the team who currently have the worst ‘form’ record in the Premier League turn their advantage into goals?

15.12: Villa looking slightly better at the moment but still no chances. Looks like Bolton are actually playing 4-5-1. Certainly the visitors look like they’re the ones playing the football.

15.08: Friedel forced to make early save from Taylor – but not a real chance.

15.06: No chances yet – but both teams are going all out for goals, playing 4-4-2.

15.01: We’re under way at the Reebok.

14:30: Teams in at the Reebok: -
