Hopes rise for Agbonlahor

wd327303489-wms-villa-everVilla are hopeful Gabby Agbonlahor will return for Saturday’s game at Bolton after the striker resumed training.

Agbonlahor missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Ham after suffering a hamstring strain against Everton a week earlier but boss Martin O’Neill revealed he could be available.

“Gabby has done a little bit of training,” said O’Neill. “He’s feeling a wee bit better. We will see how he develops during the course of the week.

“We are hoping he might have a chance, but we’re not sure yet. He’s a quick healer so we’re hopeful.”
