Miller hoping for the all-clear

Injured Albion striker Ishmael Miller is hoping for the green light to step up his rehabilitation from knee surgery by taking his training outdoors.
The 22-year-old is due in London today to see a specialist and was hoping for the all-clear to rejoin his team mates on the training field.
Miller is targeting a return to full fitness in time for the start of pre-season training in July, along with fellow casualty Neil Clement.
Manager Tony Mowbray believes both players are making encouraging progress as they battle back from knee operations.
He said: “Ish is due to see a specialist in London, hopefully to get the green light to step it up a little bit more.
“Hopefully it’s all pretty positive at the moment. I don’t want to say they will both definitely be ready for pre-season but the signs at the moment are pretty positive and progressive.
“If Ishmael can get the green light to move further, we might see him with his boots on doing some jogging.”
A return to training outside would be a significant step forward for Miller, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament in the 1-1 draw with Portsmouth on December 2.
