We were inept admits Hutchings
Monday 30th March 2009, 10:14AM BST.
Walsall manager Chris Hutchings admitted the Saddlers threw two points away as he labelled their first half performance against Cheltenham “inept.
They had to rely on Michael Townsend’s 67th- minute own goal to rescue a point in the 1-1 draw against League One’s basement side on Saturday.
Frankie Artus’s spectacular opener after just three minutes stunned the hosts.
Hutchings said: “We’ve certainly got to do better if we have any real ambition of doing well.
“The boys feel like it’s two points dropped. We needed to score because we were a little bit inept in the first half.”

inept , is that the same as not very good ? please dont let us fall into the jimmy muddle long ball tactics we seem to be applying of late !! maybe its some of the players not being able to remember how well we seem to do against every team we play when we actually play the ball on the ground !! im sure chris , you and martin can see this ?
