GVA Grimley, who were appointed last week, are looking to sell the centre, which includes 35 units, as a whole.

The site, which opened in 1995, is currently owned by Hatfield Property Ltd, which is registered in the British Virgin Islands.

Potenatial buyers are being asked to contact GVA Grimley’s Manchester office on 08449 020304.

Cannock Chase Council says it expects new management to continue operating the centre as normal and will be holding discussions with them to establish their long-term intentions.

The receivers are operating the 90,000 sq ft complex, which is open seven days a week, as ususal.

A number of major High Street names are still trading including Argos, Burton, Game, Specsavers and Thorntons
