Kane coming back to Wolverhampton
Wednesday 25th March 2009, 11:00AM GMT.
Fresh-faced comedian Russell Kane, one of the most hotly tipped acts at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and host of BBC Radio 2′s Out To Lunch, is making a welcome return to Wolverhampton after a packed-out show last month.
This October, on Tuesday 13, Kane will play the somewhat larger Wulfrun Hall following the success of his previous show at the Little Civic.
Rated as an exceptional comedian, Kane has firmly established himself as a rising star of the comedy scene and recently appeared on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo show.
The past 12 months have proved a roaring success for the comedian, who also received his second if.comedy Award nomination for his third sell-out Edinburgh show.
Last year he was invited by the Royal Shakespeare Company to perform his four-hander Fakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon and has presented on Big Brother’s Big Mouth, as well as filming a series of state-side travelogues and celebrity interviews for Five US.
Tickets are priced £12.50 and are available from the Midland Box Office on 0870 320 7000.
