Sansara wants another chance
Saturday 28th February 2009, 10:38AM GMT.
Walsall defender Netan Sansara will not be bashing boss Chris Hutchings’ door down – but wants his first team shot.
The 19-year-old has made one substitute appearance under Hutchings thanks to the form of rival left-back Paul Boertien.
But, after making 10 appearances this season, Sansara is ready to show Hutchings he can cut it at senior level.
The full-back said: “I could come into training sulking saying ‘I’m not in the team and I’m not on the bench,’ but the manager looks at us and you’ve got to keep impressing him in training.
“He knows I’m a good player and he knows what I can do. If I have to play reserve games I’ll do it, because it’s a game of football.
“I love playing but once you’ve had a taste of the big league you want to stay there.”
