Killers to top bill at V Festival

thekillers The Killers will headline this year’s V Festival in Staffordshire, it was revealed today.

Although the line-up for the Weston Park spectacular on August 22 and 23 is yet to be officially announced, the Las Vegas chart-toppers have confirmed they will be topping the bill.

The band’s bassist Mark Stoermer reportedly said how lucky he and the band felt to be headlining the annual festival on their third album.

The full line-up is due to be unveiled on Monday and other big names rumoured to be starring include reformed Britpop favourites Blur, Kasabian, Coldplay and Franz Ferdinand.

Tickets go on sale from 10am next Friday.
