Zico wary of Villa threat
Thursday 26th February 2009, 11:06AM GMT.
Brazil legend Zico feels Aston Villa’s ‘reserves’ will pose just as serious a threat as Martin O’Neill’s first team.
The CSKA Moscow boss appreciates O’Neill’s decision to leave behind virtually all his big-name players.
Zico, who played in three World Cups for his country, said: “Sometimes you have to make the right choice, and the priority for Aston Villa is the chance to play in the Champions League.
“But for us, the most important thing is that we are playing Aston Villa, not the names, and they must be respected because they are a great team.”
