Store celebrates decade of trading

A Sandwell store is celebrating a decade of trading in West Bromwich.
Cash Generator first opened its doors in the town’s High Street in February 1999 and Mike Ashwin has been at the helm since day one.
Mr Ashwin, who lives in Redditch and also owns two other stores in Birmingham and Kidderminster, started off with a team of four which, over the years, has swelled to nine.
He said: “I would like to thank all of our customers for making the last 10 years in West Bromwich a great success. Without the support of our loyal customers we wouldn’t be here today and I am extremely grateful for their continued support.
“It is a fantastic milestone to have reached and I am proud of the team for their consistent hard work and dedication.
“We are very much looking forward to the next 10 years.
Julian Urry, managing director of Cash Generator, added: “I would like to congratulate Mike and his team for reaching this impressive milestone. We wish them all the best for the future.”
To celebrate the anniversary Mr Ashwin has unveiled a new look, having refurbished the store to create a fresh interior for his customers.
