Wolves striker makes a point

Andy Keogh insists he would rather have points than games in hand.
Championship leaders Wolves saw second placed Birmingham fail to move to within a point of them last night as they could only draw 0-0 at Crystal Palace.
Blues have now played the same number of games as Wolves, while third-placed Reading, five points adrift of Mick McCarthy’s side, have two games in hand.
Fourth-placed Cardiff are the only other club who can match Wolves’ total by winning all four games in hand. “I’d much rather have the points on the board. It’s still in our hands,” said Keogh.
* Wolves reserves won 4-3 away to Derby yesterday after coming from 3-0 down.
Striker Sam Winnall, who scored both goals for the Academy in their 2-0 win at Bolton on Saturday, grabbed the winner.
Winnall also set up goals for Sam Vokes and Kyle Bennett, while Chris Iwelumo got the other. Mark Little made his comeback after four months out through injury.
