A young woman who died after the car she was driving crashed into traffic lights in West Bromwich has been named as Samantha Evans.
The 26-year-old, who is from Wednesbury, was confirmed dead at the scene after her Rover 200 flipped onto its side at the junction of Great Bridge Street and Dudley Street on Sunday morning.

The crash was one of a number of smashes on the region’s roads over the weekend. In Wolverhampton, a 38-year-old woman has been arrested and bailed by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after an accident which killed a pensioner in Neachells Lane.
In a third accident, a cyclist died after his bike left the road at the junction of the A443 and Stanford in Great Witley, near Stourport at 12.15pm on Sunday.
