Students in call to have bridge back

Monday 23rd February 2009, 11:23AM GMT.

Students in Kidderminster have called for the restoration of a bridge to create a “vital” link between the town and the Churchfields area.

The idea forms part of a document drawn up by pupils at King Charles I High School.

Pupils were asked to put forward their views on regeneration plans and said they would like to see Lime Kiln Bridge, which is in disrepair, restored to help provide a vital link across the town.

Now their ideas are to be discussed by councillors drawing up a prospectus for the future development of the town.
