A bit jammy to say the least, but a point is a point. Saw about 65 minutes on computer and until the last 10 minutes it was nerve-wracking stuff. We need our centrebacks like mad and Greening is sadly missed too. Dare we play a first team at Burnley?

Would have settled for a point before the game for sure. Winger coming into today according to Sky for £3m..Juan Carlos something or other. Thought we had no money!!. If so surely we need an old head at either centre half or defensive midfield!!! Confident for once about Saturday, especially after watching the Toon derby. At least pace from the front two won’t be a problem!!!

Where was Robinson for both goals? Each time the ball came down that flank and Koren was the player furthest back.

    Hello Cyril

Mate, if we play our strongest possible side at Burnley……..it still wont be our first team, but i know what you mean.

I have always been an advocate of treating the cup competitions with respect, and “going for it” play the best team you have at your disposal.
However, in the current circumstances, one or two injuries every game it appears, and playing two CB`s that are not fit, i think it would be prudent to play mostly fringe players.

Seems the only person who tjhinks robbo is better than Chec is the manager. I agree with the points made both goals came from his side, look at the goal;s we have conceded all season and I think you will see that most of them come down our left.
He is an utter liability and should be dropped.
