A win would be fantastic but I would take a point now.

collins from huddersfield ?

i’m going along with The Sun’s prediction after ‘boro
“don’t be surprised by a Wanderers come back and a 1-0 wolves win.”
We have been in talks with Chelsea, but suspect it is for a loan deal only.
I hear they are after Zele Ismail though, so Jez needs to be careful.
Use the funds from davies to pay for Mancienne loan if need be 1-3 wolves tonight seb with 2 kites 1
Report abuse
As we havent strengthened since we lost at home 3-0 to the same team, ( and they have bought Jay Tabb), I suggest a similar scoreline tonight…or worse
Report abuse
Bob heard they offered £3 million for zele my mate down at chealsea informs me

what is going on we are desperate for some one at the back if we carry on defending like we have been we will be lucky to make play offs.and with muppet mick love of collins god help us,if you are not quick at the back you have to have a football brain but that the last thing he got, take sat look found at alves 2yrd away what he doing right over there a joke yet another assist for him.

Can’t wait for tonight, the big 2 going head to head. I am not fully sure what is going on at reading apparently they have agreed a fee to sell harper to borough and Hunt to wigan and spurs? if them 2 dont play it will be a help. Get stearman on doyle I am confident he wont get a sniff, 2-0 wolves. 1 goal on the counter one a neil collins header!

The Manager of the “Bridge Bar” at Chelsea told me that Chealsea will sell Mancienne for 3 Million+ Zele Ismail. I dont know this chap very well and his connection to Chelsea is tenuous to say the least. However If true I think I’d go for that

5, how about a swap ? ismail for mancienne !!! only kidding !!!!!
we know its going to be tough tonight, but lets face it, reading aren’t playing too well either are they? the 2 top scorers in the division?? guaranteed nil nil then !!!!!!
Well lets just hope we can click something together because they are not going to want to lose this and go back to 8 points, that would really send us another load of rungs up the ladder to the prem. come on lads, put a good one in!!!

Come on you wolves you can win this game WOLVES 3 – I KEEP THE FAITH

all the talk on the ww site is of S ward, bloody hell have we really got that bad that we have to have that crap as a top player.

I think the lads will pull together and get a result at Reading. The difference between our players and Mark Davies is they want success with us, not an easy ticket to the top flight.
Like Mick McCarthy said these players are going to win medals, Is to go on their cv. A lot of players in the game are on big money and what have they won.. Nothing in many cases. Mark Davies has showed that he is not in it for the love of our club. What sort of man would take money from anyone while injured and not repay those that helped him. It baffles me if I had been unwell for several years and a group had paid for me to become better and also fixed my illness, I would die for that group of people later. But sadly mark davies is not a man of morals, he is a boy wrapped up in his own self importance. If you read his comments on the Bolton website you will know what I mean.
So let’s hope that Mick is given the money from his transfer and some of the money that Morgan has promised this club, so that we can get the players in to make everyone’s dreams come true.
This is the time for everyone to keep their word, including Mick,Morgan, the players and supporters. Give what you have all promised to the club, undying loyalty.. Be men of morals and winners and allow the less moralistic ones like Mark Davies to drift into the night.

Cant wait!
I am not sure what is going on at reading though, hunt is talking to spurs and wigan and harper is off to borough, hope neither play tonight!
2-0 wolves, kites and collins

#5 Bob Wolf
Here’s a thought Bob how about we let them have Zele on loan if they let us have Michael on loan. Seems fair to me.
2-0 the the Wolves tonight. Had a dream!

I’m sorry but still want to have my say on Mark Davies.
The Jez spin ruled supreme yesterday. I’m sure that they offered him a good contract and were desperate for him to stay but the words “stable door” and “bolted” come to mind.
Mick seems to have no trouble expressing how wonderful the players are that he has brought in and nurtured…Eastwood aside!
For me his attitude to Davies since he came to the club has always been negative and I don’t believe he was ever given a fair chance – even allowing for his injuries. You’re not telling me that if the manager had supported him as much as the likes of Collins and Ward, he’d be joining an outfit like Bolton. We could swap with them at the end of the season!
Davies is the best home-produced player since Keane and light years more talented than Henry, Jones and Edwards. Most contributors to this site recognise that central midfield is a big area of weakness at the moment and we have traded Davies for Quashie. Strange that he said that he felt Mick wanted him at Molineux.Young and hungry? I think not!
Davies has gone to Bolton because he knows Chris Evans will value him and he’ll get a fair chance to show what he can do. I’m beginning to wonder why we bother having an Academy when no-one gets an opportunity to shine. Do we send them out on loan to give them experience or to put them in the shop window?
Anyway, end of rant and we will move on and hopefully do the business against Reading. In the meantime, I will put my signed Mark Davies shirt away somewhere safe as I’m sure it will be worth a bob or two when he’s England captain!

I’ll settle for 2-1 like 2005, murray was superb that nite. Shoes off if you love the Wolves !!

The Mancienne saga has always had a bit of the “Zele Ismail” issue about it. Chelsea want him badly but do we want Mancienne as badly as they want the kid? Someone said yesterday that whats the point in having an academy when we don’t play the youngsters when they come through. The point is you get a Million pound plus sell ons for them, and a lot more in the case of Keane and Lescott!! If thats a waste of time I am Tony Mowbray!!!
I am fearful that we may just get beaten tonight. A draw would be a good result, and if we win it would be excellent.
The best we can hope on Mancienne is a loan I would have thought. It may not even be that, as Carvalho is injured again, and reports say that Alex is on his way out of Chelsea.
Let’s hope I am wrong on the loss and the signing though.
Hope for a win, a point will do. Davies is supposed to be a ‘wolves fan’ what a joke as soon as other clubs came sniffing his transfer request was in, all this after taking money from wolves while he has been injured for the last few years. Well i am glad kites and seb dont claim to be ‘wolves fans’ when they were being linked with moves. WE AM WOLVES AY WE!!!
We seem to have run out of ambition don’t we? Only a couple of days deadline to go and no permanent signings or even Mancienne for tonight’s Cup Final. If the backroom are taking promotion seriously we ought to work much harder in getting possibly two CB’s in like Mancienne on loan and Sonko from Stoke permanently.
I’d like to think we can get something from the cauldron tonight but my head is just saying defeat! I would start 4-5-1 and if Reading score we can always change to 4-4-2. This seems a good tactic to disrupt their free-flowing football.

Im up this tonight pivitol game of the season so far!We can win it,i just hope we do.
We Are Wolves

I agree with Malvern Wolf…a win would be fantastic but a point each keeps the gap…don’t see Blues as a theat to the top two places.
A draw would be great but even if we lose all is not lost. Well need to pick up the pieces starting Saturday and then get the 31 points needed for automatic promotion.
I would play Craddock tonight. experienced, dependable, unflappable and with something to prove…
Report abuse
What sort of fans are you,we are top of the league, they came to our place and done us,and your willing to settle for a point,,no way, I want the lot,we are better than them, ask Swansea…Please Mr Copell we will be happy with one point iff thats ok with you.

WW Fan for life…….If blues blow outthen thast’s fine but Sheff utd, cardiff, preston and QPR are ready for their challenge. One of them at least will be charging up the table. We must start playing well and scoring well and soon…

We’ve got no chance if Collins and Ward are playing tonight. Hill and Shackell in.

We CAN WIN tonight, if McCarthy picks the BEST TEAM AVAILABLE.but will he???I think the trashing of Davies by both the Wolves management and some unthinking supporters is really bad and dose nothing for the image or good standing of the club. The first time we are told he had asked for a transfer was after he was sold.DID HE???or is it propergander to make McCarthy look innocent to the fans.OK he was injured for 2yrs BUT he was injured PLAYING FOR US.We have a duty to the players to get them as fit as possible.McCarthy by his actions showed Davies that he was not wanted so what is he to do?? This is another product of our academy sold for peanuts by a lunatic manager WHO NEXT????????
I think Mancienne could be the difference between staying in the championship and getting promotion. With him, we conceded 6 in 8, without him we rarely concede less than 2. Swap Zele for him, do anything to get him because he’ll get us promotion. We need that defence sorted, and quick!

Laughingwold what the heck are you on? You are clueless if you think this bunch of dross is going to remain in the top two.Underfunded again by mahogany row, and where is the next win coming from.Oh, I forget , we will win the next two home games eh? Wally!!
Morgan and McCarthy need to have a good look at themselves, because if they let us down again , ( teh banner is ready I’m sure), they will be taking some flak in May. As it stands, here comes play off misery, because we still have several defeats to look forward to.I despair.
