Hamster part of haul in flat raid

A pet hamster in a cage was among items stolen in a house burglary in Stourport.
A television, XBox and three games, worth a total of £110 as well 40 DVDs were also taken from the property in Old Ford Walk.
The thieves forced their way in through the wooden door of the first floor flat sometime between 5pm on January 9 and 3.30pm on January 12. The hamster, called Lassie, is described as having white and ginger markings, with a closed left eye. His owners have been left devastated by the theft.
Other items stolen in the raid included hair straighteners worth £59, between 10 and 15 assorted tins of food, chocolate bars and half a bottle of milk worth £20. A collection of 1p and 2p coins worth £8 was also taken.
