Former Blues striker DJ Campbell scored as Birmingham’s promotion bid was all at sea in Blackpool.
Campbell, who spent 18 months at St Andrew’s between January 2006 and July 2007, is on loan at Bloomfield Road from League One leaders Leicester until the end of the season.
His first half strike plus Keith Southern’s terrific effort put the skids under Blues’ Championship bid.

With only 8 days left for the transfer dedline McLeish needs to hit the panic button. At this rate Birmingham city will be lucky to make the play-offs.
