Screaming girls greeted TV pin up James Sutton when he made an appearance at a Wolverhampton nightspot.
The actor, best known for his character John Paul McQueen in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, was at Walkabout in Queen Street last night.
He signed autographs and answered questions up on stage.
James, who is originally from Sutton Coldfield, admitted he liked going on nights out in the city.
“I used to come out with my mates and go to the Little Civic to see various bands. It’s always fun coming to Wolverhampton.
“I like getting up on stage as well and just having a laugh with people.”
The 25-year-old was in Hollyoaks for two years and said he was preparing to star in a British movie which starts filming in March.
Student Kirstie Hancock, 19, from Fairfield Crescent, Wednesfield, said: “I came out just to meet James. He was lovely and signed a photo for me.”
Hollyoaks fan and fellow student Danielle Bond, 19, from Blackhalve Lane, Wednesfield, added: “He’s a good looking guy and was very funny up on stage.”
