To my mind it has to be Brian Little, he has been excellent in the lower divisions with no dough, is popular, lives close, an excellent motivatyor and tactician (doesn’t play hoof ball),has coached in the higher leagues and is available.

avaliable managers lets see , brian little-alan buckley-ian holloway-john ward- question is would they want to put their reputations on the line by coming here with no money to spend and a tiny squad. and lets not forget no gerrard soon i,ll bet it,ll be someone we,ve never heard of !!!!

Could Walsall afford Brian Little? He would be a great choice.What about Paul Ince,he too did good in the smaller division but didn’t make it in the Premiership.

NO MANAGER WOULD COME TO WALSALL AND WORK UNDER PAUL TAYLOR, ROY WHALLEY, AND JEFF BONSER . IT WILL BE THE CHEAPEST MAN GOING. I WOULDN’T TAKE A PAY CUT TO MANAGE WALSALL AND I HAVE MORE QUALIFICATIONS THAN SOME THEY HAVE HAD.

A few days ago Martin Swain described David Kelly as the Saddlers favorite son, but there is only one person who is the favorite son to anyone of a certain age and that’s the man who gave Kelly his debut – Alan Buckley. Now is the time for him to return to the club where is a living legend. Watch the attendences rise !
