Palmer wants to stay – agent
Wednesday 17th December 2008, 2:22PM GMT.
Chris Palmer wants to sign a long term deal at the Banks’s Stadium – according to the player’s agent.
The 25-year-old came to the club in August on a short-term deal in August, with his terms set to expire next month.
The former Derby youngster has made 19 appearances for the Saddlers so far and continues to be in first-team contention.
Now the player’s agent Saif Rubie has expressed Palmer’s wish to stay at Walsall.
Rubie said: “Chris loves it at Walsall and has no intention of leaving. He and his partner have just had a child, so he has to look after his family.
“We hope something can be sorted out soon.”

Its not his fault he is being played in the position asked of him. IMO he is a decent player for us.

one good free kick and nothing since. A bit of a liability at the back.
It would be typical Walsall to give someone rubbish an extended contract.
However, big question is, who do we get as a replacement?
