Allardyce named Rovers boss

SOCCER Blackburn 2Dudley-born Sam Allardyce has been confirmed as the new manager of Premier League Blackburn Rovers.

‘Big Sam’ returns to football just over 11 months since his sacking from Newcastle, replacing former Wolves captain Paul Ince in the hotseat at Ewood Park.

The former Bolton boss was confirmed to have joined the club on a three-year deal.
