City gigs for The Specials

terryhall.jpgLegendary Midland band The Specials are to play two concerts in Birmingham.

The ska punk outfit, who originally split in 1981, have announced eight UK dates. The band, from Coventry, will play at the Birmingham Academy on April 25 and 26.

Singer Terry Hall said Neville Staple, Roddy Radiation, Sir Horace Gentleman, John Bradbury and Lynval Golding will all be taking part in the reunion.

Tickets, priced £32.50, go on sale at 9am on December 11. Call 0844 477 2000.
