Woman trampled in horse box

A woman was taken to hospital after being trampled in a horse carriage on the M54.
Ambulance crews were called to the westbound carriageway of the motorway, between junctions one and two, near Wolverhampton.
The woman, thought to be in her 30s, suffered head and chest injuries, a suspected broken jaw and several broken ribs.
She was taken to New Cross Hospital for treatment.
