Bartosz could be gone for good

bartosz.jpegPolish striker Bartosz Slusarski could have left Albion for good after rejoining Sheffield Wednesday on loan with a view to a permanent signing.

The international hitman made just one substitute appearance for the Baggies first team after joining for £680,000 from Groclin in the summer of 2007.

He has now returned to Hillsborough, where he spent two months on loan last season.

Manager Tony Mowbray said: “Bartosz is a good professional who hasn’t given me a second’s problem since the day he walked in. He came in late during the transfer window in the summer of last year, when we’d lost a lot of the squad.

“We were putting together a squad for the Championship. Bartosz came in as number five striker at the time just to make sure we had a lot of bodies.

“Here we are in the Premier League and he’s a million miles from playing for our team. I wish him well.”
