Quashie back from ban for Blues

quashie.jpgMidfielder Nigel Quashie is back for Blues as they look to keep up the pressure on Wolves at home to Ipswich Town.

Quashie is available to Alex McLeish after sitting out Friday’s win at Swansea through suspension. He was banned for one game after his dismissal in the home match with Charlton.

The West Ham midfielder has also now extended his loan spell until December 28 and will be able to play in the return agianst the Swans on that date.

During his time so far at Blues, the former Scotland international has made four appearances – two starts and two from the substitutes’ bench.

Damien Johnson, Stephen Kelly, Stuart Parnaby, Garry O’Connor and Gary McSheffrey remain out.
