Routledge joins Cardiff on loan

fk-routeledge.jpegForgotten Villa winger Wayne Routledge has been handed a chance to resurrect his career when he joined Cardiff on loan.

He has signed a two-month deal and ironically will provide cover for the Bluebirds’ ex-Villa man Peter Whittingham, who is sidelined for three months with knee ligament damage.

Routledge has been restricted to a bit-part role at Villa Park again this season, with his only Premier League outing this term coming as a substitute at Stoke.
