Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without a pantomime – oh no it wouldn’t! – and this year’s offering from Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre is bound to keep the whole family hooked.
Swashbuckling adventure Peter Pan features an all-star cast and kicks off on December 6, running until January 25.
Bringing the magical journey to Neverland to life are the hilarious comedy duo The Krankies, as pirates Captain and Mate.
West End actor and Just Good Friends star Paul Nicholas smoulders in the role of the villainous Captain Hook.
Playing the part of Peter Pan – ‘the boy who never grew up’ – is Jack Montgomery, of TV’s Torchwood and Primeval fame.
Jack has also appeared in the West End stage versions of Mary Poppins, The Sound Of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Isobel Hathaway, as Tinkerbell, will be bringing a touch of glamour to this year’s show, which is being hailed as one of the biggest pantomimes in Britain and is aiming to thrill audiences of all ages.
Presented by Qdos Pantomimes, producers of last year’s record-breaking production of Dick Whittington, Peter Pan will feature fabulous sets, eye-catching costumes and stunning flying sequences.
The show is set to be another hugely popular event, with nearly 12,000 tickets sold eight months before curtain up – and booking sooner rather than later is strongly advised.
