Growing bellies now have yet another way to fill up as Big John’s Neighbourhood Takeaway had its grand opening in West Bromwich, which includes the Black Country’s first drive-through fish and chip shop, saving hungry motorists the trouble of getting out of their cars to eat.
Owner Bob Saddiq, aged 39, hopes that the takeaway will be his “route into Dudley, Tipton, Bilston and other areas wherever there is a demand.”
The branch has also launched a ‘credit crunch’ menu for diners, which includes a range of fast-food options for 99p.
