P!nk bringing Funhouse to life
Tuesday 4th November 2008, 1:00AM GMT.
P!nk is celebrating her first UK number one album as tickets go on sale for her April appearance at Birmingham NIA.
Her Funhouse CD debuted in the top slot after selling more than 112,000 copies in its first week.
Despite having sold four million albums in the UK, P!nk’s previous best chart position was No. 2 for Missundazstood in 2002.
The incredible success of Funhouse mirrors that of P!nk’s latest single So What, which spent three weeks at No. 1 and is No. 3 this week.
P!nk’s fans will be able to catch her live at Birmingham’s NIA on Thursday, April 16, 2009. Tickets went on general sale today and can be booked via theticketfactory.com or by calling The Ticket Factory on 0844 33 88 000.
