Shoppers in Wolverhampton were doing double takes when a celebrity look-alike dropped by.

With her perfect figure, tan and pixie crop, shoppers in the Mander Centre could have been forgiven for thinking Victoria Beckham had swapped Los Angeles for Wolverhampton.

But this pouting Posh Spice was 100 per cent fake.

Do you think she looks like Posh – fill out the comment form below

Professional Victoria Beckham look-alike, Camilla Shadbolt, was on hand today to launch the new Mander centre gift card.

And the 27-year-old, from Eastbourne, admits perfecting her Posh look has cost time and money.

“It’s taken lots of bottles of fake tan and lots of false nails,” she said.

“I’ve copied most of the hair cuts in the past, but I’ve decided I’m just going to stick on wigs from now on.”

Camilla added the real Mrs Beckham has always supported her work.

“Victoria is really nice and a really funny lady,” she said.

“She doesn’t smile a lot in photos but she smiles a lot in the flesh.”

This is just misinformation designed to draw attention away from the fact that the real Victoria Beckham frequently shops in Wolverhampton.

Apparrently she’s a huge fan of Wilko’s and Poundland and usually rounds off her visit with a Greggs pasty.

I wouldn’t call her sad. If she just so happens to look like somebody famous she may as well make a few quid out of it.

It probably pays better than a ‘proper’ job, whatever one of those is.

The bosses at the Mander Centre are sad though. You could argue that it’s just publicity, and it’s worked as they have got free advertising on the front page of the E&S website.

But is it the right sort of publicity? To me it just cheapens the place, it certainly doesn’t make me want to visit there.
