Traditional cider-making demonstrations will take place outside the Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury on Sunday.

Visitors who would like to donate some apples to be added to the hopper can also take along a small bottle to the 300-year-old cider mill to take away some of the freshly-squeezed juice.

Displays of falconry will take place throughout the day. Or for those more interested in the smaller animals meet the team from Hedgehog Rescue and learn more about these fascinating creatures.

Other attractions on the day include the Blacksmith’s Forge where people will be able to see the blacksmith in action and demonstrations of other traditional crafts. There will be performances by the Bedcote Morris Dancers and horse and carriage rides around the castle carriage circle will also be available.

Rachel Robinson, Worcestershire County Council’s visitor services officer, said: “This is a fun, family day.” Admission costs £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and £10 for a family ticket two adults and two children. The day runs from 11am until 5pm.
