Cultural event at town hall

Face-painting, story-telling and hand-painting will be on offer at a community fair being held in Kidderminster.

The multi-cultural event will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday.

Worcestershire County Council is staging the event in conjunction with partner organisations such as the Wyre Forest District Council, the Police, the Fire Service and the PCT. 

The doors open at from 10am until noon with a women and children’s only session. 

Then from 1pm until 7pm the event is open to everyone. There will also be refreshments available and the chance to pick up a free jute bag.

Eddie Clarke, Worcestershire County Council’s director of adult and community services, said: “The community fairs provide the perfect opportunity for residents to let us know what we can do to make our services more accessible and relevant to their needs.”
