Jordi Gomez nets after 26 seconds for Swansea – without Wolves touching the ball – before Andy Keogh’s equaliser and a Jason Scotland brace.
16:50: Full-time whistle is blown.
16:45: Leon Britton clears off the line for Swansea.
16:33: Scotland replaced for Swansea – much to the relief of the Wolves fans.
16:18: Scotland muscles clear and powers the ball past Ikeme for Swansea’s third goal.
16:13: Vokes nearly scores with his first touch, with his volley superbly saved by De Vries.
16:12: Wolves put on Sam Vokes in place of George Friend.
16:03: Second-half begins.
15:48: Half-time whistle is blown.
15:40: Disaster! Scotland makes it 2-1 by nutmegging Ikeme, with the Wolves defence sound asleep.
15:38: Swansea striker Jason Scotland rattles the Wolves crossbar with a header.
15:35: Goal disallowed. Mark Gower’s effort is chalked off as Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is impeded.
15:18: Wolves striker Andy Keogh picks up a return pass, takes a touch and fires past Swansea goalkeeper Dorus De Vries for the equaliser.
15:07: Wolves put Stephen Ward at left-back, with George Friend on the left-wing.
15:01: Jordi Gomez scores in the first minute for Swansea – without Wolves touching the ball.
15:00: Game kicks-off.

well i didn’t expect that line up. but we have been very unlucky with injuries and maybe Hennessey might be lacking a bit of confidence after the last game so hopefully we will be able to get something out the game.

Not knocking Ikeme in any way, but have to wonder if dropping Hennessey after one poor game is the right thing to do, surely if he is short on confidence this will only make it worse. Hopefully bring a draw from today’s game.

Tell med the logic of this: Keogh as a lone striker. Yes he has scored, but he is hardly the target man, holding up the ball.
We buy Friend as cover for the full-backs, but after about 30 seconds it shows that he doesnt have the ability to compete at this level, so we do damage control and put him in left midfielder.
Then there is the Hennessey thing. He makes ONE mistake, and then he is dropped, with no regards to the fact that he is been brillant up until then, and no regards to the fact the he and Collins/Stearman partnership are probably more settled than if Ikeme comes in.
Oh well, I hope we can still climp back and claim a point..or three..

Hopefully it is a blip, unlucky with the injuries, but with the players we have out there we should still be capable of beating teames like Swansea, the international break can’t come soon enough!!!!!!

Both Stephen Ward and Neil Collins have been terrific this season – leave them alone.
Look at how many injuries we’re carrying – for all we know Hennessey may not be 100% fit and we know that Carl is up to it.
Get real – we were never going to win every match. None of the teams that has been promoted in the last 10 years did so without setbacks.
Get behind the team and the management. If you don’t like supporting Wolves, there are plenty of other West Midlands teams within travelling distance!!!

stephen ward and likes of keogh are good enough and even top of league teams such as united ave off days.

Well we are playing with 4 (maybe 5) first team players so it was never going to be easy. Still 2nd in the league, just 1 point from top. Some luck will come our way soon enough and we’ll be back to winning ways.

To have a chance in this league against birmingham reading and even sheffield united. We need strength in depth and shud be able to handle the loss of some players. We simply havnt got that. How can we expect to score enough goals to win with andy keogh upfront alone and how can we expect to keep goals out with whats startin to sound like a very below average defence (excluding foley).
Need to beat coventry and norwich. No excuses. If we dont i dont care how good we started off.. Mick out.

some of you make me sick!!! we have no kites, jarvis, iwelumo, SEB, elokobi could possibly throw in murray into that mix thats 6! SIX FIRST TEAM PLAYERS OUT not just first teamers but possibly our best players add to that the club captain in craddock a possible 7! yet you complain.
no one in football man utd, chelsea, liverpool even birmingham, reading etc could deal with that yet no matter what happens today we are still 2nd in the table 1 point behind blues and thats after 10 games, tell you summat id have taken that at start of the season.

Why do you follow this club? I just don’t understand! Everyone is entitled to an opinion but at least have the pride to have a consistent one!
Take a step back and ask yourself if somebody had said to you before the season kicked off would you be happy going into the begining of October in second place and a point of top, would you have taken it?
