Vouchers bid as store opens

A battle for customers has broken out in Kidderminster following the opening of the new multi-million Morrisons in Green Street.
The new store was opened by Town Mayor councillor Marcus Hart.
In a bid to retain customers, rival Tesco, in nearby Castle Road, is offering to accept Morrisons spend-and-save vouchers and those from other competitors. Taryna Surtees, spokesman for Tesco, said: “This is something designed to offer customers the best deal possible. ”
