The Express & Star’s Brendan McLoughlin joins the Aston Villa travelling supporters as they prepare for the trip to see their team take on Bulgarian side Litex Lovech.
After navigating their way through the Intertoto Cup and UEFA Cup qualifying Martin O’Neill’s men will tomorrow finally compete in a proper European fixture for the first time in seven years.
Bulgarian side Litex Lovech will provide the opposition in the UEFA Cup first round first leg in what is Villa’s second of seven games in a hectic 21-day period.
Brendan spoke to fans at Luton Airport as they prepared to fly out to Bulgaria.
