He has appeared on countless comedy shows including BBC1s flagship stand-up show Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats, along with his own Comedy Store Special on Paramount.

Described as “just the man to help banish those incoming recession blues” by The Telegraph and “the ultimate 21st century stand-up” by The Herald, Michael’s sublime observations on the way people walk, talk and generally cope with whatever obstacles life throws at them make him one of the country’s most popular performers.

In fact, he’s so popular with Midlands audiences that his forthcoming scheduled performance in Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall on October 30 has recently been upgraded to the Civic Hall to cope with massive demand.

He’s also due to play the Birmingham Hippodrome on November 2 at 7.30pm, and Oakengates Theatre this Thursday evening at 8pm.

Saw Michael last night (30.10.08) at The Civic and he was brilliant. However, he ended the night by slipping on the very slippy stage and fell flat on his back. We all left the venue with Michael because curtains waiting for medical help – hope he is ok.
