Relegation-threatened West Bromwich Dartmouth have been warned they will get no favours in their crunch clash with Wolverhampton.

Second-from-bottom Dartmouth are 10 points adrift of the Premier League safety line, as they prepare for tomorrow’s crucial home clash.

Wolverhampton captain Simon Lycett believes his side are not ready to ease up, despite seeing their own hopes of winning the league fade in recent weeks.

Lycett said: “We’re pretty pleased with our position in the table but we still want to finish as high as we possibly can.

“There are only two weeks left before winter comes along and we want to do as well as we can in the last two weeks.

“We want to do well for the other teams around Dartmouth but also for ourselves.

“A top-six finish looks certain and that represents a good first season back at this level. We could still finish in the top four and that would be even better.

“We’ll be playing positive, aggressive cricket for the last two games.”

Lycett’s side will be without Indian all-rounder Sauraj Bahutule, who has returned home as planned.

Kidderminster Victoria have lost all-rounder Ted Bayliss for the final two matches, as they look to end their lingering relegation worries.

The seamer and middle-order batsman has been suspended for two games, after the league found him guilty of dissent to an umpire, in the recent clash with West Bromwich Dartmouth.

Jonathan Wright’s side are also without South African star Mario Saliwa after he returned home., The skipper has admitted his side still need points to secure their Premier League status for next season.

Victoria are nestled in mid-table but sit just 26 points clear of West Bromwich Dartmouth.

Wright said: “We’re almost safe, but not quite. We should have enough points but if we have two really bad weeks, with Dartmouth and the teams below us having really good weeks, we could still go down.

“Losing Ted is a blow. He’s a really nice guy but the league are really strict on dissent and he admitted he went too far on one occasion.

“We are also without Mario, so two of our main three seamers are unavailable, but we’ll get on with it.”
