Canal plunge rider injured

ambulance-top.jpgA motorbike rider plunged into a Black Country canal.

Emergency services were called to Owen Street in Tipton where the rider, aged in his 20s, was found next to the canal, with his bike in the water yesterday morning. 

He was suffering pains to his leg and was immobilised with a spinal board and neck collar before being taken to Sandwell Hospital.
