Police investigate stab murder

Police were today continuing to investigate the murder of a 21-year-old man who was stabbed to death on Sunday morning.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to New Cross hospital in Wolverhampton by taxi.
Three city centre roads – Broad Street, Queen Street and Lichfield Street – were shut for investigations.
Police were called to New Cross, where the man died from what is understood to have been a stab wound to the heart.
A police spokeswoman said: “A murder inquiry has been launched.
“A number of locations in the Wolverhampton city centre area have been secured for forensic examination.”
